Maduro Receives More Than 10 Million Signatures Against Obama

The Venezuelan president, Nicolas Maduro, this past Thursday, maintained that the change in opinion of President Obama regarding his policies and politics on Venezuela could indicate a new era in the history of Latin America.

He greeted the civil military union and the Bolivian people the for having collected more than 10 million signatures against the emergency decree from the White House against Venezuela.

The president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, expressed his congratulations to the Venezuelan people for their united demonstration at the aggression of the United States as he added his signature to the list against the imperial decree of president Barack Obama.

"My respect for this grand union, in such a short time to have more than 10 million signatures, this is unity, this is the people against imperialism," said the Bolivian president reassuring Venezuela that they are not alone.

Venezuela Receives “Reinforced Cooperation” from China

President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, gathered this past Wednesday with China's General Secretary Xi Jinping under the China-CELAC (Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos) Forum in order to address economic questions and the consequences of the decline of the price of oil.

During the meeting, the Chinese representative had provided his financial support for Caracas to overcome problems during the expansion of bilateral trade and the daily purchase of one million barrels of oil.

The Beijing Government is considered a strategic ally of Venezuela, its principal investor and its second oil consumer aside from the United States, with a volume of 6400,000 barrels daily.

Venezuela Congratulates Cuba on their 56th Anniversity of Cuba's Revolution

Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro congratulated the Cuban people on the 56th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution that, with the leadership of Fidel Castro, had revolutionized and freed the Caribbean country from the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista.

"The Cuban people celebrate their most glorious day in the company of the five heroes, who had given the world an example of integrity at the height of the revolution that had been defended at the cost of their freedom," expressed Maduro with respect to the liberation of the three Cuban anti-terrorists that were unjustly incarcerated in the United States.

The three anti-terrorists were freed on December 17th, after the reestablishment of relations between Cuba and the United States.

Before the Cuban Revolution (1959), the people lived in idleness. Of the 300 settlements with more than a million inhabitants only 114 contained a water supply from a aqueduct system and only 12 had a sewage system. All of this lead to contagious diseases in the communities.

Despite the disapproval of the United States, who maintained a commercial block against Cuba since the 1960, Fidel continued with the Revolution that has come to bring dignity to the people. Cuba made improvements in health services, education and export while also becoming a distinctive country in the world.
